Oliver Popadich is a designer, software developer, and engineer whose approach focuses on
the relationship between material practices and digital techniques. His fluid workflow
facilitates innovation through the inherent interplay between technical knowledge and
designed application. Oliver’s body of work includes advancements in digital fabrication,
development of new augmented reality techniques, and exploration of both physical and
digital forms of representation.
His work has been exhibited across the United States and also in Europe and Asia. Venues include South by Southwest, the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, the Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture, the Tallinn Architecture Biennale, the Bartlett School of Architecture, and a permanent exhibit at the Thinkery Children’s Museum in Austin, TX. His work has also been published in Architectural Design, the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, Avery Shorts, and KooZA/rch.
Oliver received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his M.Arch from the University of Michigan.
